House Rules
1
Only one (1) entry per person, unless a
designated re-entry tournament.
2
Tournaments must begin and conclude on
the same playing day.

Tournament chips have no cash value or
equivalent
4
Minimum of nine (9) players required to
start a tournament.
5
Blinds are posted in two amounts
consisting of one value at a lesser number than the larger valued blind.

A winner(s) will be awarded at the end
of each hand, no progressive pots.

Intentionally exposing “hole cards”
will result in a 10 minute penalty.
Further instances may result in a disqualification.

Too few or too many cards constitute a
dead hand.

Only one (1) player to a hand.

Any chips that extend beyond the
betting perimeter are considered a live wager.

All betting action must be completed in
turn.

When playing on the final table, if two
(2) or more players are eliminated simultaneously, the chip count prior to the
beginning of the hand will determine their finishing position.

When player(s) are “all-in” and there is
further betting action, all cards are to be turned face up.

Due to a player leaving for any unforeseen
emergency, player(s) chips will be taken out of play (no reimbursement of entry
fees).

Decks will be changed each time the
blind increases. (Color of decks will
alternate)

It is the player(s) responsibility to
protect their hand at all times.

Profanity will not be tolerated at any
time.

Any unsuitable player(s) conduct will
result in elimination from the tournament and those chips will be taken out of
play.

Cell phone usage during tournament play
is prohibited.

Winnings will be paid with cardroom
chips.
21
Floor supervisor decisions are final.

All players must be 18 years of age to
participate.

All regular Dania Jai-Alai Cardroom
house rules apply, as applicable.

No person is allowed to take another
entrant’s place or play his or her chips once the first person has played a
hand.

An absent player must be dealt a hand
and have antes, blinds and forced bets put in the pot from the absent player’s
stack, as needed.

Anyone caught cheating will be
disqualified and will forfeit all claims to prize money and will be barred from
the facility. Chips of a disqualified
player will be removed from play.

When the field is reduced to two
tables, each table will be kept within one player in size.

Tables will be broken down by a
predetermined pattern.

All participants will redraw for new
seats when the field is reduced to the final table.

The last two tables will be kept equal
in number of hands dealt when the field is within one player of combining to a
single table.

All chips must remain on the table and
in full view of other players. Anyone
removing chips from the table will be subject to forfeiture of removed chips.

A tournament official or dealer may not
have a financial interest in any entrant.

Verbally announce all raises.
34
Ipods, walkmans, or bluetooth type
electronic devices are permitted, provided the cellular telephone function is
not used and the device does not distract from the conduct of the game.
